IBM, in partnership with AustCyber, the AustCyber SA Node and the South Australian Government have launched the IBM SkillsBuild platform for all educators and high students aged 14+ in South Australia.

Students and educators can develop their skills across cyber security, block chain, data science, artificial intelligence, design thinking and professional skills for free as part of the program. This free initiative provides students with the opportunity to prepare for internships and jobs, earn the same badges as professionals in the field, and offers skills development in both technical as well as workplace readiness topics. The partnership is part of IBM’s global commitment to provide 30 million people of all ages with new skills needed for the jobs of tomorrow by 2030, and to address critical skills shortages in Australia.
