As part of AustCyber’s Cyber Week, Josh Schwarz of Splunk delivered a virtual hands-on one-hour workshop to attendees who were new to the Splunk software and eager to understand the most popular Splunk search commands and security foundations

This session explored the Splunk platform and provided particpants with a path to getting started with the Splunk data platform.

Josh Schwarz is a self-professed Splunk addict and South Australia’s #1 fanboy. Formerly he was a computer security specialist with a focus on all things ‘blue team’ including working in digital forensics, incident response and security analytics. He now works for Splunk – the world leading data to everything platform which enables its users to discover secrets hidden in their machine data – whether that is for security, IT operations or observability.
