The ISM Fundamentals Training introduces participants to the Australian Government's Information Security Manual (ISM), a comprehensive cyber security framework designed to protect information and ICT systems from cyber threats.
This training provides a clear understanding of the ISM’s sections, guidelines, and security controls, enabling organizations to adopt a risk management approach to strengthen their cyber resilience. Participants will explore key concepts, including the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), Essential Eight, risk management, threat modeling, cryptography, and communication security.
The course also addresses practical applications for both government and non-government entities, equipping attendees with the skills to apply ISM principles effectively. This program is ideal for cyber security professionals, IT managers, CISOs, and other key decision-makers responsible for safeguarding organizational assets.
Participants will receive a certificate of course completion from the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre.
