Encouraging the future workforce – Palo Alto Cybersecurity Competition

News

5 September 2022

To encourage the future workforce to pursue a path in computer science and cybersecurity, Palo Alto Networks held a Cyber Range Event at the Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre during August.

16 teams of high school students across South Australian schools, battelled it out in a capture the flag competition. The students walked away with an understanding of fundamental network security and general concepts involved in maintaining a secure network computing environment.

The Centre in collaboration with Palo Alto are making a conscious effort to grow cybersecurity and computer-literate students into professionals that companies want to hire.
